Finding this left-handed thug shouldn't be hard

Finding the left-handed thug in the short hi-vis vest who accompanied the dog-handlers and who fatally clubbed / pushed Newsagent Ian Tomlinson to his death shouldn't be hard. Story and video link HERE. Watch the slo-mo replay; you can see his baton hand raised in the club position, and as he throws Tomlinson to the ground he follows the blow through and raises his baton again at the end. He then speaks on his radio set in the background, and disappears to the group of officers off-camera to the right.

No wonder they've made illegal our taking of such footage and photographs. Now if Straw's Bill succeeds, they'll hold Tomlinson's Coroner's Inquest in secret, too.

It wasn't so long ago that Jacqui "Hot XXX Girl-on-Girl Action" Smith was scolding us dirty proles for daring to suggest that this Untied Kingdom was a police state.

Anyone who said such a thing, claimed Jacqui (in between viewings of Debbie Does Dallas, Deep Throat and Hot Teen Anal Sluts Vol. XVIII), was clearly ignorant of history.

And yet today we see a video (unfortunately not one of the videos that are so popular in the Smith household) of a police officer - a heavily-armed agent of the state - beating a man to death for his own amusement. I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised, given what happened to Jean Charles "His skin's a bit on the dark side so let's shoot him repeatedly in the head just to be on the safe side" De Menezes.

Labour Prevails.

It has been suggested that Mr. Tomlinson died of a heart attack, brought on by insufficient exercise and not eating five portions of fruit daily as demanded by Labour ( !?! ).
Heart attack or not, that mans death was directly brought about by that policemans actions and by his, and others, failure to assist. Tactics and Techniques and Training as promoted by limited company ACPO.
Happily this particular killing occured before Straws Coronors Court Cover-Up Bill comes into force.
Guadianistas must be in a hard place as their conflicting loyalties, pro Labour but anti-Police, collide.

Yes - the murdering stazi fuckwit should be taken out and shot through the head for his crime. And given the police are adept in this matter, they should be forced to do the job.

We do...? Where, then?

Because it's patently not the video that everyone's referring to here...

@Newmania and JuliaM

Ah, your instinctive support of fascism emerges.

A man was walking home from work. He did not speak to the police or engage with the police; above all, he did nothing that could possibly be considered a criminal act or an act contrary to good public order.

And the police assaulted him. They pushed him down and beat him for no reason whatsoever. This caused his death.

If you could stop masturbating over your fantasies of black-clad secret policemen for a few minutes, you'd realise a man was murdered by the police for no reason other than that they felt like murdering him.

You might have no problem with but those of us who actually belong to the human race and who value this funny little thing called "the fundamental right to walk home from work without being beaten to death by the police" are a bit pissed off.

*rolls eyes*

Try to curb the hysteria and hyperbole, eh? It doesn't make you look like Fox Mulder, bravely speaking truth to power. It just makes you look like Adrian Mole.

"..those of us who actually belong to the human race and who value this funny little thing called "the fundamental right to walk home from work without being beaten to death by the police".."

As far as I can tell, you still have that right. We all do.

Because no-one has been 'beaten to death'. We don't know that the push 'caused his death' (and an initial postmortem found no injuries - but we now will hold a second, just to ensure no funny business went on).

Unless you believe the police have a heart-attack causing ray that they are testing out on the streets on London?

The Guardian had a clearer angle on this and Mr Tomlinson was hit with a baton and charged not 'pushed' as NuLabour Socialist-Speak JuliaM informs us.

Now I'm a 'NuLabour Socialist', as well as a police apologist...?

Jeez. I better go read my own blog, just to make sure I am who I think I am.

You know, this is why we have problems in this country. Too much tribalism. It's worse than Rwanda.

No just do your research before you comment.

And what, specificallt, should any 'research' have shown me?
