Holloway? No way!

Insert here the usual condemnation of cheating scum, benefits scroungers, welfare crooks; for judgement is in on 'Baroness' Uddin, the leader of a Labour crime gang who fleeced Britain's taxpayers of millions in fraudulent claims. Convicted of personally stealing over £125k, Uddin was today sentenced to, er, stand in the corner for a bit while she pays the stolen money back.

Screws at Holloway Prison are said to be disappointed at missing the chance to keep the thieving scum locked on the 'Muppet' wing for five years, but hey, this is the Political Class here.

It used to be that there were politicians who took to the trade early, usually after distinguishing themselves elsewhere - like Churchill, for instance.

Then there were those who came to it in later life, after a successful career in the real world.

Now we have a political class which is totally insulated from the need for any real achievement (Cameron, Clegg, Miliband and the hosts of New Labour who started in student politics and have stayed on grants for their whole lives, as well as the Quangocracy who, like Baroness Ashton, scoop up the top jobs without the slightest need for public approval).

These people are not only immune from things like inflation (against which they are proof in their salaries, pensions and perks) but also against the possibility of criminal liability for actions which would not only lose ordinary mortals their jobs and reputations but see them in jail. Members of the political class will possibly have to stand on the naughty step for a few months but then will resume their Heaven-ordained positions as our rulers and once again be guests of Her Majesty at public functions.

We must get to know our place in their scheme of things and be properly and humbly grateful for their efforts on our behalf.

Isn't it wonderful that her (New Labour)co-conspirators in the HoL wanted her "let off" 'cos she is/was poor.

It's enlightening that Uddin et al represent the "cream" of the new wave of diversity....

If this is how the best steal, what the hell is going on at ground level? Scratch that, we already know...
