Halal meat is dirty

Dirty, unclean, impure and taboo for Christians, tainted with the heathen superstitions of benighted savages. I would rather saw off my tongue with a bread-knife than knowingly eat Halal meat.

Um, unless it's in a kebab, of course. When by definition one is drunk and it doesn't count.

Over many years we succeeded in adopting a humane slaughter of animals as the norm. Since we allowed in Muslims, we have adopted the barbaric practice of the slow killing of animals, just to keep Muslims happy, and prevent them from going on a murderous riots.

How would it be if we forced vegetarians to eat meat disguised as vegetables?

How has it come to pass, that we have trashed our humane values and forced our society to barbarism – worse still, it has been done with no reference to us.

I'm glad to note that soon after Cameron's speech on the failure of MC, the CofE has come out against halal meat in CofE schools.

Its time to say enough. Halal slaughter and Halal meat, imported or otherwise, should be totally banned in Europe

Umm --- I'm sure it's worse since the barbarians invaded.

And we never did have a big thing for veal. But - I do remember regularly visiting a horse at a farm where they reserved some calves for veal. Someone showed me them - being kept in the dark, etc .... And they explained to me how the poor sweet things would be slaughtered.

I nearly died of misery and horror - and avoided veal ever after. Point is, though -- it did happen here, however rarely.
