Europe Day

You may be forgiven for not remembering that 9th May has been designated 'Europe Day' by our masters in Brussels; they're so proud of this, they've even produced a poster that they're urging us all to put up in our workplaces and so on. The official version is HERE but you may prefer to print out and display the version below ....

So I don't do most of the things in your "upgraded" version but even the original poster is hypocritical. The EU doesn't want us to use cars or planes or electricity or a good lightbulb for that lamp. How can I study if I can't see my books?

The original poster is just a bizarre and menacing piece of propoganda. It smacks of all those nasty huge street posters with a smiling "dear leader" looking benignly down on his people. It has me in mind of all those countries that you would rather not visit, let alone be a citizen of - any country which has "democratic" or "peoples" as part of their title. When you see these, you just know that there is no democracy and nothing for the downtrodden people.

The poster was clearly not designed in Britain as it features, gasp, White People!

I had no idea 9 May was Europe Day ...

I think we should hi-jack it and create Get Out Of Europe Day.
