Dreadful turn of events. The Met need to act swiftly and fire Fish coz he's clearly an incompetent dickhead. But of course they won't, so now this will blow up in their faces - especially as guidlines were issued as recently as 12 months ago to police and private security firms regarding photography in public places (and its legality).Yet one more hang-up from the Labour days in power and their (mis)use of so-called counter terrorism laws to trample on our freedoms. It will take some years to stamp out this nonsense from our society.Coney Island
I have wanted to ask this for some time now. How did British Police get the name "Plod" and exactly what does it refer too.If I could have found an answer elsewhere I would not bother asking.
What a stink, Fishy lives up to his moniker.He should have laid the blame at the door of 'elf'n'safety reg's.No probs.
@TiDavis USA:Hope this helps!
It's slightly concerning that some of the emphasis in the accounts is around the fact that the boy was a "journalist".I hope we're not heading towards a situation where some (licenced journalists, approved by the regime) are more equal than others (the rest of us).I know Labour are out of power, but Brussels is not (yet!) and things may go marching on, which we would rather had been stopped.
Why hasn't he been prosecuted for discrimiatory hate speech over his use of the word 'gay' as an insult?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/oxfordshire/4606022.stmarrest of lad for calling horse 'gay'one rule for them.....
Officer @01:10 "I don't need a law..." says it all.
compensation as been paid? hopefully from the stupid plod wallet and not using taxpayer money?
Even the folding stuff in Stupid Plod's wallet comes from the taxpayer. As well as the overwhelming majority of "his" pension contributions.
I have never wanted to punch a copper as much as i did while listening to that.
