Just a bent little frog

So Sarkozy, with news of brown envelopes, tax breaks, sleaze and Presidential corruption, is proving that he's just a bent little frog after all. Like so many French Presidents, the stench of peculation, theft, bribery and dishonestly surrounds him.

The Kermits may be happy to be led by such people. We, you may be sure, are not.

Sarko is goping to lose to Hollande, anyway.
His shouting and posturing are the sure marks of a desperate loser .....

Sarkozy is knee deep in 3 party political scandals including the one mentioned in the article.

Sarkozy is electoral toast and he knows it. His latest pronouncements have all the hallmarks of a landed fish thrashing around on the deck in desperation.

"Britain has no industry anymore". He may or may not be right, but Britain isn't sitting there with 13% unemployment, a knackered economy and a number of it's biggest backs up to thier throats in Eurobond debt.

We also still have our AAA rating - just. Sarkozy is just pissed that we're not willing to throw our own economy down the toilet with his. He's a petulant child.

Given that just this morning, on the "Today" programme, they interviewed the heard of ARM technology (Cambridge) manufacturer of billions of phone-chips, sold to Apple etc ...
What was that about "no industry" ??

ARM are a fantasitic company and a real success story, but they don't actually manufacture anything. They design chips, but all the mfg is outsourced to Asia (quite right too, if they tried to make them here, they wouldn't be competitive and the business wouldn't exist).

Therein lies our real economic problem. We have no jobs for people who are only qualified to carry heavy things across level ground under supervision, or just push a button, or just load a machine. There are about 3 billion people in Asia, Africa and South America who are a lot cheaper. Hence our lumpen unemployable underclass.
