The "Je suis Charlie" response of our political establishment misses the point, being at once feeble and insincere. It is noteworthy that Farage's right to make his own different comments has offended Cameron, Clegg and Miliband. So much for freedom of speech then.
There's something a little unhealthy about the very leaders of European and other nations marching at the front of this gathering when they in great measure created the conditions that resulted in the deaths at the hands of muslims. With whom, exactly do they think they are supposedly showing solidarity?
What will "Private Eye" do for its' next issue I wonder?
