Why won't Germany use her military airlift capacity?

It's an easy question - Germany has some 60 of these Transall military aircraft, each capable of carrying 90 migrants at a time. Flight time from Athens to Munich is about three and a half hours at 300mph. If Merkel wants to have Migrants so much, and if the Migrants themselves and the rest of Europe are to be spared the dangerous, arduous and filthy trek across three or four borders, why doesn't she order her aircraft to pick them all up?

Any answers, please?

Update - You'd need a heart of stone ....
============================

Federal Austrian authorities have played rough in forcing the Austrian states into making provision for migrants, and the recent flood of migrants into Vienna offered the perfect opportunity to put plans into action. A vast sports hall had been prepared at Klagenfurt in Kärnten, with beds and emergency food supplies; a special train with room for 1,200 was chartered and prepared in Vienna. And the migrants all refused to board it - they were not going south again. They demanded the train be re-routed to Germany. The disappointed federal officials in Klagenfurt are keeping things ready, just in case any of the migrants change their minds.

Because the Germans might finally wake up and notice that they had a stasi propaganda agent as chancellor?

My answer to the headline question is: "Agenda."

WhY? Because they must look bedraggled and desperate when they arrive in Germany, or the German people might think Merkel is pulling a fast one. Flying them in - wearing their designer clothes, carrying mobiles and flashing the cash might give the wrong impression.

These are all desperate people, fleeing civil war and extreme poverty, doncha know.

Answers? Because, like all politicians, Merkel is a liar. Actions, not words are what to watch for. Merkel words - We will accept 500,000 migrants per year for the next 6 years. Merkel actions - screw Schengen; get those borders closed. See what I mean?

James Higham has it - from the Guardian in 2000:

Better to use them to take the migrants back to their home countries and do a good turn for the Greeks at the same time.

Healthy, well-clothed, new mobiles (which miraculously self-charge on the "arduous" journey, money in their pockets and hardly a wife or child in view. These young men are certainly not fleeing poverty or hardship. The suspicion that some, maybe most, are trained jihadists infiltrating Europe is hard to avoid.

Has Murkel heard about the Trojan horse?

My old unit did a jump with 2e REP (2e Régiment étranger de parachutistes) from one of those Transalls back in '86. As I recall the DZ was in Corsica, lovely weather too. Thinking about the size: 90 fit young men of military age, sorry refugees, would be a bit of a squeeze. And the payload limit would mean they'd have to ditch the smartphones, tablets, battery chargers, gold coins, etc.

The Germans don't really like using their military. They keep them in the cupboard most of the time, because you never know when someone from social services might call.
