Hurrah for Gove!

Michael Gove may be a prickly little Haemorrhoid with the social skills of a Marmoset and the Emotional Intelligence of a drugged Hippo, but nonetheless he deserves praise for his part in the government's cancellation of a prison training contract with the primitive barbarians of KSA.

I fear however he will make little further headway in the far, far, more lucrative field of arms sales - in which the MOD alone has 240 officers and clerks working full-time on serving the cruel and corrupt kingdom's needs.

It's a bit disturbing when the Foreign Sec, Home Sec, Justice Sec, Cabinet and ultimately PM fall out over a £5.6 million bid yet prints £375 billion without a care in the world. Geez, my local council hardly debates £5.6 mill. Yep, good start and probly finish too.

Amoeba brain, the jelly boy Dave and making a decision do not go well together.
And besides, the Brussels mafia are so in tune with the Kingdom of the death cultists not to mention the Arabist and tent dwelling lovers of our very own FCO.

Don't watch this space.

I suppose it's to much to hope that the 240 MOD officers and clerks serving the needs of the Saudis will be made redundant in the "cuts"?

Nah, thought not. They'd rather cut our Armed Forces and continue pandering to the barbarians in Riyadh.

"Michael Gove may be a prickly little Haemorrhoid with the social skills of a Marmoset and the Emotional Intelligence of a drugged Hippo,".......but he does have the ability to THINK, unlike the camoron, hammond and fallon.

Now that obama has released Iran oil onto the world market (another huge mistake) and saudi have to sell at much reduced profit you may well see cutbacks in Saudi arms procurement. Careful what you wish for, that could hit your balance of payments hard.

If you want to punish the saudis-close the mosques and madrassahs.

Yes, the arms game is worth a long series of posts.

"I suspect ...... that one of them has given US high-altitude SAM missiles to ISIS, hence a warning to aircraft not to overfly what are in effect ISIS held areas."

Ah Ha! Well of course the US Embassy Libya débâcle was related to smuggling arms to 'militants', so 'one of them' probably means, the US.
