Tomorrow, Kevin Smith can return to being a nobody

There is really no doubt about the result, and after tomorrow Kevin Smith, who has challenged Corbyn for the Labour leadership, can return to being an unknown nobody.

The Labour party, however, is not the organisation it was a year ago. Fraser Nelson in the Telegraph provides a pretty good account of what's been going on. What I've not yet seen in print is anyone analysing the political asymmetry of a Tory party with clear public support but probably barely 100k members left and a Labour movement with 600k members but little widespread support. But this will have consequences, no doubt.

The Libdems are now just a pungent smear on the green benches; broke, with fewer members, they were gambling on getting Tax funding based on their 2010 vote share, an establishment fix strongly pursued by both Hayden Phillips and Christopher Kelly. That's now dead in the water thank goodness and the LibDems are stuffed.

Changes ahead - and changes mean opportunities to overturn even more old-establishment inanities, cause Polly to froth at the mouth, and reclaim our realm.

There's still life in the Labour Party, but it's dying. The English will never elect a far-left party; the Welsh have wised-up about the modern Labour Party's failure to improve their lives and the Scots have embarked on a similar path as the Irish did a century ago. The SNP have taken over the left, leaving the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party as their Opposition (be interesting to see if they drop the Conservative bit and simply become the Scottish Unionist Party to try and attract broader unionist support).

And the LibDems ..... the only remotely interesting thing to come out of their conference was the proposal that Careers Advice Officers should be able to recommend and advise on a "career" in the sex industry to young people! What is REALLY disgraceful is that, whilst only 2 million voted for them, there are 8 LibDem MPs and even worse, there are over 100 LibDem Peers in the House of Donors and Cronies, influencing our laws.

The Upper House must be reformed and the Westminster Parliament must be elected by the same form of PR in use in the Scottish and Welsh Parliaments.

The 400000 far-left twats who have joined ZaNu constitute a Register of the UKs Marxist scum.

Thanks Lads & Lasses.

I've interpreted your post title to mean either that Smith's such a nobody that his first name was forgettable or that he's such a nobody that getting his name deliberately wrong underlines your point. :>

What the recent referendum made clear was just who the enemy is... As Brendan O'Neill of the online Spiked website so eloquently put it.

I can only locate a copy of his piece on this blog: https://bestofbrexit.wordpress.com/2016/06/08/us-versus-them/

(I expect history is being rewritten as we speak.)

The enemy of ordinary folk, whatever ones basic moral judgement is that of the "establishment"... the centre ground. Those that tell us to fly a flag without knowing why, those that tell us that we are doing well despite the fact that our taxes start at around 70% of income and work upwards from there. Those that tell us the NHS is the "envy of the world" and all it needs is a bit more of our cash... Those that tell us that we need the EU, because without it, the sky will fall in.

Those on the far left believe that "Something must be done".

and on the right, that "Nothing can be done".

I am of the latter persuasion, O'Neil a former Marxist, is clearly of the first.

Either way, both ideas are valid, and are feared by the great fascist lump that seeks to make its living from ordinary folk, rather than do something productive.

Kevin Smith (who he?) and virtually all of those that take our money and believe in the sanctity of "other people's money" are the true enemy...

Margaret Thatcher was right, all those years ago.

Anyway, I am rambling....

Corbyn and his cronies are in the midst of taking over Labour, as I foresaw over a year ago (I've seen it happen on a local scale). They will, of course, pretend that their "socialism" isn't really, really, any of the other myriad forms of socialism (Trotskyism, Stalinism, Maoism, Communism, anybody got any matchsticks - ism, etc). And the gullible, including most Labour voters, and the BBC, will believe them.

In the meantime Micro-Manager May will cock-up Brexit, with the help of turncoat Remain civil servants, and get us a worse deal than if we had just walked away by repealing the ECA in weeks. There will probably be a recession too, blamed on Brexit. The LibDems will grow back, helped by their well oiled party machine (compared to UKIP's that is), and helped by some "moderate" Labour refugees.

UKIP will wither away because all their donors either defect to the Tories in the vain hope that May will deliver Brexit, or attempt to seize control eliminating democracy within UKIP turning it into a Tom Cruise type cult on the internet.

The result will be that dear leader Jeremy will be our next elected Prime Minister (in a coalition with the SNP).

Wonder what the list of UK political parties will look like this time next year...

One gets so used to comments immediately appearing, that one becomes lazy and forgets to keep a copy before pressing the button...

...So here is my second attempt, the first attempt was a bit of a ramble anyway.

The persons, along with the (hilariously described) pungent smears that you describe are now very adequately identified as the definition of fascism, along with the institution known as the "civil service" not forgetting the meeja... are the enemy.

The only proper way of bringing this to an end will be brought about by adopting the Swiss system of citizen triggered local direct democracy, as described beginning at 51 minutes here:

We don't need the likes of May, Smith, Farnon, or even Farage, even if he has been the only recent British politician to understand this.

The most foolish conclusion to the article. Who would join a party with two wildly different aims, the sane one of which was being systematically eliminated?

No, the only answers are to either form a new party for whatever ideals the Umanas of this world have, or to wait until this particular sparkler burns out in 2020, only 3 and a bit years hence.

It would make a difference if more of those elected bothered to acquaint themselves directly with matters to hand.

We have been through a (long) period where the sinecure sitters have simply gone through the motions of being democratic representatives whilst feasting on the rewards so assiduously accumulated. The ludicrous democratic deficit of representation does not help either.... the stink of LibDem and yes, SNP influence must be bleached away.

The democratic deficit is obvious - I don't hold much hope - but the Boundary Commission might yet surprise us ...

As for the civil service - it's long past time that incompetence and corruption had its real rewards.

We're not out of the woods yet.

With Brexit still to be signed off, and Theresa May promising to sign up to the UN COP21 climate scam, our government is still our enemy.

Without doubt the political wind has changed, in some ways dramatically when you consider how we island dwellers can look again across the oceans for inspired trading opportunities - Brussels has such a dead hand on everything, gives me the creeps so it do.

I will never understand folk from here wanting to create a country called Europe, it's so limiting and anal. Imagine a future where everything is the same right across the Continent. There's even talk of having one language. Wankers.

Back on topic: Labour has morphed into an anti-white, anti-English party full of ideological freaks and misanthropes. They should do the decent thing and die.

" and Theresa May promising to sign up to the UN COP21 climate scam"

If, in the glorious event of Mr. Donald Trump being elected, and even if Hellary is installed, the combined houses on Capitol Hill will blow this stupid emissions limitation nebulous Paris climate agreement out of the water, and now that, Barry fucking O'barmy is thankfully signing off permanently: in November.

FFS, China is taking the piss, promising to do "something" on the Twelfth of never or, sometime in 2030....India is promising nothing.

Shariza May has a golden opportunity to shove the green agenda back up the UN's arsehole where it belongs - a historically dark and very forgotten place.
Along with a low tax regime encouraging new start up and established business, manufacturing, only cheap energy guarantees Britain a brilliant future, and cheap clean energy comes from fossil fuels. May could inspire a new UK industrial revolution, if only she'd take off her green/pink tinged spectacles.

Or, is she {MAY] just a diseased brain dead rat.... led away from common sense and right thinking. Another CaMORON like patsy, one mesmerized by the myths peddled by the Pied Pipers - the billionaire puppeteers [Soros, Rothschilds et al] the luvvierati and investment banking/corporate and landed elites with its alliance with their useful idiots - facilitators that mendacious 'ILliberal progressive, Internationalist agenda being shoved down our throats by those Cultural Marxist/green tossers permeating the Westminster bubble?

I thought that we were out of the EU obviously Shariza May has other ideas.

Where May is, maintaining and even augmenting the continuance of the EU's egregious policy stupidity.

For crying out loud, haven't any of these cunts worked it out yet? Quite apart, from the baneful vicissitudes and inflexibility of the insane 'single currency'...... one of the major inhibitors of EU competitiveness - is the GREEN AGENDA which affects business, manufacturing, transport, domestic budgets: to 'our' its massive detriment, clotting the arteries of all those who work, breath and have to exist: in the EU sclerosis.

All May has to do, AND to make Britain GREAT, is to side with Donald Trump and tell it like it is, that: man made CO₂ causing runaway warming is Bollocks. Man made indeed, globull warming is a political fiction fabricated to suit the catastrophists.....Soros, Club of Rome/Bilderbergers and as a redistribution mechanism to stuff the west to the singular benefit of the Mooslimes - worlds beggars, third world.

OT (sorry) but your copy problem can be easily solved if you use the Chrome / Vivaldi or Firefox browser. Lazarus is one of the great pieces of add-in software of the past few years. Remembers the content of text boxes in forms when they disappear or you fat-finger the page and it closes.

Piers Corbyn (brother of ) held a London conference of anti man made climate change scientists last Thursday/Friday at Colwyn House. DESPITE the family connection I saw not a mention in the MMM.
I was most disappointed by May's successful bid for PM She is a globalist bought and paid for. Hence her government continues to talk garbage about Russia /Syria/Assad (aided by the buffoon Johnson)
I hoped the deliverance from Miliplod and now Cameron marked a new beginning.....

Leila: thanks for the globalist angle regarding the not-so-darling-bud-of-mao.

As she stands today, looks as though we have just another old beginning on our hands. ... Actually I wish we could go further back to the ancient etymological understandings of OE: beginnan = to attack; to make an attempt upon; to act strenuously.
