"Have a Muree with your curry"

This will be the new advertising slogan for a sales push by Pakistan-based Muree Brewery. Established in 1860, this Rawalpindi firm has just concluded an agreement with, erm, a Belgian brewery to produce its beer under licence for the European market.

The other well known Indian beer, Kingfisher is brewed in Faversham, Kent and is about as Indian as my balls.

My point? It tastes like fucking Carling Black Label....which is brewed in Burton. Don't buy beer brewed under liscense in this country, cuz British lager is not fit to use as windowscreen wash.
