UK beats Kermits into 3rd place

With the smallest land area and lowest population of Europe's big 3, the UK has just overtaken France's sclerotic economy. Now look out Herman .....

This is potentially bad news because the sodding EU will no doubt link it to an argument that we must give them even more of our money.

With four socialist parties contesting your election, and likely to form a coalition that rules Britain for five years, I am afraid you will be competing with the frogs in a race to the bottom.

Nationalised train service and free infantcare are not the making of a robust economy.No talk of energy policy or banking reform-you are done.

The Establishment can't do anything about our landmass, but they certainly intend doing something about our population.

Another 5 million or so crammed onto our small islands won't bother them, if they can claim another 1 or 2% on GDP.

And the more we earn, the more the EU takes.

Personally, I'd rather have a smaller population and a smaller economy.
