Götterdämmerung

It is apposite that today marks the anniversary of Hitler's giving effect to his decision to rid the world of his own evil by putting a bullet in his brain. For the previous weeks he had lived in a fantasy world, nominally still running Germany and moving phantom armies and ghost divisions in imaginary counter-attacks as the Germany actually under his control shrank to a few hundred metres around his coward's bunker. It is instructive how those on the verge of self-destruction somehow manage to exclude all realisation of that reality from their consciousness.

There is of course no direct comparison whatsoever between the Leader of my Party and that of the NSDAP; the sainted Theresa is as far from being a fascist monster as the Pope. But they do share the same insouciance when faced with impending self-destruction.

I know many of you enjoy telling me how dreadful Conservatives are, but I think you're mistaken. I think the vast majority of ordinary grass-roots Conservatives are decent, honourable, sensible and responsible voters with a high rate of democratic participation. We are betrayed by the Party leaders and general staff in Westminster. A privileged and isolated elite, these patrician destroyers are in the process of driving a party that has lasted 200 years to its death. All because of their stubborn stupidity, vain self-regard and one incredibly lethal woman - Mrs May.

The great question is whether she can manage to destroy our country before she follows our Party into the flames. By all accounts the talks with Corbyn's Labour have thrown everything into the deal, every red line, every Tory principle, just for the sake of this most incapable and disloyal of women, so that the utterly useless May can leave office after passing a deal. She's past caring what deal - any deal will do. She no longer cares for nation or Party, only for the shattered remnants of what can be rescued as a 'legacy'.

For Conservative councillors and activists in local government, I am so sorry. You really do not deserve this double betrayal by our own MPs and CCHQ first of Brexit and now of Conservatism.

Any genuine Brexit-supporting Councillor/Activist in the Conservative Party, witnessing the betrayal of Treason May and the Remainer cabal she's surrounded herself with, should have left the Party by now.

If they stand for election wearing a blue rosette they ARE part of the problem.

There's a Hitler Rant Parody on YouTube "Hitler reacts to Brexit being delayed until October 31st". Not May ranting, but Hitler ranting about May.

One subtitle that struck me as particularly meaningful: "The Brexit Pandora's box is now open and can't be closed."

I agree with DeeDee99 somewhat, however it does interest me to know whose Machiavellian manoeuvrings were at work when that woman was handed the job.

As Nigel Monkhouse once said...

... they are not laughing now.

True justice would have those manipulating in the background - our own Deep State - fully exposed to public scrutiny such that the blame can be properly proportioned.

Many 'innocent' Tory-supporting councillors will now suffer at the hands of the the Globalist controllers which, I suppose, was yet another target for the Globalists anyway as the inevitable Common Purposed trained chimpanzee will now have a clear path to total control at the local level.

The only way to recover any sort of revenge would be for Remain to fail completely and Brexit to be a resounding success. As already mentioned, Brexit is now an inevitability - it's only the level of disruption, chaos and expense that anti-Brexiteers can muster that will have any real meaning or effect.

What exactly have the Conservatives been conserving for the last forty years?

It might also be asked in what way has Labour represented the interests of the indigenous 'working class', for whom it was formed, for the last forty years?

As for the non-liberal, non-democratic, LibDems who persue different policies around the country but nationally want us to be in the non-liberal, non-democratic EU, I have a special place in hell for them.

As has been said elsewhere this morning, the Tories as a group are so stupid, corrupt and cowardly, and the leader deaf to reason that the only way the people can get change is to cut them off at the feet and work upwards. So first destroy the party in the local elections, then the EU and then further up until the party dies. Maybe at some point before death they will get rid of traitor May, but there's no sign of that yet.

The surrounded fantasise that they can control imaginary armies.

Raedwald imagines that he can read minds.

Pete, I would have thought the surrounded would be thinking about a way out, not day-dreaming.

The Conservatives are not entirely to blame BUT they much accept that they will get all the blame. When you look at the various votes over the last few months, the one to officially delay Brexit was ALL of the opposition trash bar nine Labour, with the TIGs and 14 Conservatives voting with the traitors. It was almost pure party politics so they are ALL to blame.

There are some decent Conservative MPs but - as mentioned above - the Party as such has not been 'Conservative' for decades.

Too late for all this now, the Conservatives are toast and rightly so, the only problem is that the donkey red rosette brigade mean we are in for a very dodgy few years.

I'm sure they are. What I am not sure about is why they are still in the party that so clearly thinks nothing of them and is determined to undermine and betray them at every opportunity. If one stays in the party, in whatever capacity right now, then one is condoning May's actions. No if's, no but's.

It's too late for the tories now. They are doomed by their inaction, incompetence and inability to remove May when they should have done, and now the chickens are coming home to roost. The tories are going to be absolutely annihilated tomorrow, and they've brought it on themselves.

May is a globalist. A mongrel ideology based on ignoring the electorate and thinking that her own opinion is so supremely important that treachery is excusable, and that unfortunately is a view shared by many of her fellow troughers.

"Nigel" ??
People always say: "You're a comedian, tell us a joke."
They don't say: "You're an MP, tell us a lie."

As already said whether rank and file members are "decent people" matters not.

Given the Nazi analogy was started in the original post, let us continue it..I am sure quite a few Nazi Party members loved their families and were in essentially not evil people..their continued membership condoned all actions of the party though and its evil deeds.

The Tory Party must die, it stands for nothing but power in and of itself, the party deserves its fate.
